This past year was another hectic one but still good.
I’m now working full-time at the school and I’ve been busy buying French
books for our library, as our school has started a French immersion
program this year.
I’ve found this to be a very exciting time to be in the library...
Many of the highlights for me of this past year were the get-togethers
with our friends; the July 1st celebrations with Lorie & Jim, our Nitinat
holiday. (this time going on a ocean adventure), and the air-show weekend
at Kathy & Liam’s (ahhh, nothing’s better than a pedicure at the end of a holiday...).
Ted & I had a wonderful ski trip to the mountains with the kids last Spring and
I’m pleased to say that my knees seem to be holding out for the snowboarding.
Spencer and I had an excellent evening going to an Oiler’s hockey game last
March (his 1st one) with the Oiler’s winning in overtime!
I did more chaperoning this past year when Laura participated in
the Alberta Jr. High Honor Band and then again when her concert band went on
their Spring trip.
I’ve dabbled here and there with my stamping - but for the
most part that seems to be on hold. The good news is that I have finally started
to put our backlog of photos into albums...
All in all, a great year...even though I feel as though Ted and I have become
full-time taxi drivers.
