Spencer’s message is Merry Christmas everyone!

We build a skating rink on the lake in front of the house every year, and Spencer is out there every chance he gets.  He loves to play hockey, but so far we have resisted putting him in a formal program.  Maybe next year??

Spence had is first day skiing this spring at rabbit hill.  Sifton School had a ski day for the Grade 4 and up students.  I took the day off to ski with the kids, and I took Spencer out of school, so he could ski with the older kids.  He took to it like a fish to water.  I’m sure we will under a lot of pressure this winter to get him skiing again

Spence played Outdoor soccer again this spring and loved it!  They are starting to play position a little bit, and are looking a lot less like a swarm of bees around the ball and more like a proper team.

While Spencer won’t admit it, I think he enjoys school.  He ended the year last spring with an achievement award (in phys-ed, of course.

Summer holidays were great this year.  The weather was better than usual, and there was lots of time for Skate Boarding (on our newly paved road), Biking, Tubing, Water Skiing, Swimming, Paddling to the Raft, and even a little windsurfing.

Spencer is in Grade 4 this year, and it looks  like he lucked out with another great teacher, Mr. Sikorski.  Spence was in Stars Basketball again this fall, and is also on an indoor soccer team (Lou is helping coach!).

Spencer is hoping for lots of snow this winter so we can do lots of skidooing, skating, tobogganing, and skiing
