	Wow, another year. . . I enjoyed Paulette and the kids coming to visit in February. They came to watch Laura's performance in the school play 'Our Town'. . . but the boys also spent some time on the snowmobiles that weekend - as we finally had some nice snow! Ted and I decided to take the kids to Jasper in March. We had a great time at Marmot Basin - even if I ended the trip by riding down the mountain in a ski-patroller's toboggan. . . But, new helmet - and I'm 'good-to-go'. Two weeks later Ted & I were off to Margarita, Venezuela. What a beautiful spot! Unfortunately the wind did not cooperate (we were told repeatedly that the weather we experienced was unusual - because it's always windy there) - and the crowds became a bit much (Semana Santa - Holy Week) - but we still had lots of fun with our friends.
We took in the final performance of the Passion Play in July - collected Laura - and then headed off on our holiday to B.C. After a slight change to our plans (inclement weather), we ended up at Hornby Island with the Carlisles and Kovitz' for a few days. I really, really enjoyed it there.... (we were told repeatedly that the weather we experienced was unusual - because it's always sunny there...) - but, what - the - heck, we were with friends in a cozy cabin!

	Once again we experienced another 'Harry Potter book release' while vacationing in B.C! After that, it was nice to get to Nitinat once again - although we had a scare with Laura's fall - and an unexpected trip to the Duncan hospital for stitches & x-rays.August came along -and before I knew it, I was back to work. I sure enjoy the kids at the school (well... 98% of them anyways) - I just wish it weren't quite so busy all of the time.

I'm really looking forward to this Christmas break - sooo many things to do. ...hmmmm - do I tackle my list of 'things to do' - or just sit down and read a book??? Enjoy the season - I hope you all have a wonderful new year! Lou
