Louise / Mom
...hmmmm... Where to begin..... Ted and I were able to combine business with pleasure in January - as we headed off to Whistler - Whistler was Wonderful!

What a great trip... spending my birthday with our good friends Carolyn & Scott (in their new home) - even having a wee visit with Jenn. Next day we headed up to Whistler where we had a fun reunion with the Williamsons and the Kalheims... even hitting the slopes for a day! That trip was a definite highlight of my year :- )

February flew by... more snow.... Family Day was a bit odd for me - as Laura was away in England - and my boys were off in Mexico.... But, you know me - I adapted... (Edmonton / shopping & a movie were involved).

March was Marvelous in Mexico! Ted & I joined our friends - I loved the beaches - snorkeling with Ted - and being catered to!

My folks arrived home from their trip south in April - but dad gave us all a scare near the end of the month when he suffered a major heart attack. We had many things to be thankful for... that they were back home - that mom acted quickly and got him to the hospital - and he was a good patient. I am happy to say that Dad has made a very good recovery.

In May we celebrated grandpa's 85th birthday... then in June we celebrated pepere's 75th birthday - as well as wished Charles well, as he shipped out to work on Royal Carribean's Alaskan cruise for several months.

Our Christmas Tree was so chubby - we had to trim it to get it out the door!

July was just grand as we finally started to enjoy summer living at the lake. We'd had a pretty cool Spring - and I believe our Canada Day weekend was the first good boating weekend of the year. I made a few trips to Rosebud this summer - it was very exciting to see Laura acting on the main stage!

This Fall just flew by. Now that Spencer has moved to Calgary - Ted and I are finding things quite different - but we are very pleased that he's enjoying his classes so much (I don't think he minds the social life either).

Laura is just wrapping up her 54 Christmas performances as part of the Rosebud cast in "The Gifts of the Magi". Ted and I were able to watch two of their performances - lots of fun - love the hats, Laura!

I'm looking forward to having the family together for Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas!
Louise
