Yuma Airshow 2013

Louise and I decided to visit Bernie and Carmen at their winter home in Yuma this year. As it happened, the 2013 YUMA Air Show, hosted by the Yuma Marine Base was holding their annual Air Show on the same weekend. Bernie and I decided to take it in. I love Air Shows !!!

We were doubely lucky because with the cuts to the US Military, the Air Force was in the process of cancelling all of their Air Shows for 2013. While they did cancel the F-22 which was supposed to make an appearance, the other Marine Air Assetts were allowed to fly in the show. I believe it was the first and last Air Show of the Season in which Military Aircraft took part.
