| Last winter, our friends Hans and Sue
invited us up to their condo in Canmore. We had a wonderful
visit with a couple of nice days of skiing at Sunshine with their
daughter Lindsay and her husband Rob. We also went for some
nice walks around their condo and saw all the repairs being done to
mitigate the damage by the spring floods. |

| In March, Patty and Ross hosted the family
for Mom's 88th Birthday Celebration. Most of the family were
there, along with a few dogs (I guess they are family too).
As usual, it was an excellent meal and lots of fun!

| Braseau
Reservoir for Hot Dogs |
| One morning, our neighbours Richard and
Deirdre called and asked us if we wanted to go for a seaplane ride to
the Braseau Reservoir for a camp fire and hot dogs. It is
just over an hour flight, almost straight west of Camrose. We
took off from the Camrose Airport. I went with Richard in his
4 place Lake Buccaneer, and Louise with Deirdre in her two place Lake
Buccaneer. We landed on the reservoir, pulled up to an island,
waded to shore and tied off the planes. The water was very
high, so there wasn't much of an island left, but enough to gather some
firewood and make a camp fire. The hot dogs tasted great!
The flying was smooth with clear weather. What a
great day! |

We hosted the school nurse during the annual Ashoro Student Exchange in
Wetaskiwin.
45 Students and nine adults visited from Ashoro and were hosted in
local homes |
