Merry Christmas 2009!

I hope that this Holiday Season finds you well, and that you have had a healthy and happy year!

As many of you know, I've always been a Science Fiction fan. I remember when I was 11 years old, my dad took me to the movie 2001, A Space Odyssey. While I didn't understand the story at the time (not sure I do today either), it was a wonderful futuristic movie with fantastic special effects for it's day! In 1968, 2001 seemed like a long way off - would I even live that long.

When the sequel , 2010, the Year we Made Contact, came out in 1984 I was 27 and better able to understand the plot, but 2010 seemed just as far off.... Well hear we are. In a few days it will be 2010 -- hard to believe.

Once again, I have tried to put together photos and stories about our year so we can share our family adventures with you, our friends and family.

We have all very busy as usual... Laura is back from her Katimavik adventure, and is now enrolled in the Rosebud Theatre School and enjoying it immensely.

Spencer is half way through his senior year in high school and looking forward to graduation.

Louise is still working at the School, and I am still at the City.

I will leave all the details for our individual web pages. We hope that you enjoy reading our stories and looking at our photos.

Ted Merry Christmas from Spencer, Ted, Laura and Louise

We wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
