| Louise and I had the opportunity to go to Whistler for a conference in January. I threw out an email to our friends Jon and Michelle (who live there) .... Louise and I will be in Whistler, any chance we could meet while we are there?.... The immediate response was - you have to come and stay at our house, visit with the kids, we will see if we can talk our other friends into coming over from Vancouver..... What a wonderful response. We headed to Vancouver and stayed with Scott and Carolyn (even got a chance to catch up with their daughter Jenn). Next day they drove us up to Whistler to meet with Jon, Michelle, and their kids Mardi and Rhegan. Tim, Val and their kids Quinn & Colin drove up from Vancouver to stay as well. We had a wonderful visit remembering old Nitinat times, and getting to know everyone again! |

Jenn was getting ready to head off to India to do some volunteer work and traveling. Scott and Caroline showed us their beautiful new home right next to the ocean.
The house is designed so that most of the rooms, including the master bedroom have an ocean view.
The next day, we drove up the Sea to Sky highway to Whistler to meet up with our friends Jon and Michelle, and also Tim and Val. |
