Louise and I enjoyed three weeks in Las Brisas Huatulco in January. It was my 10th time there and Louise's 9th. We enjoy the resort, the staff and the guests. We tend to see many of the same people each year and look forward to seeing them. This year, as usual, our friend Wilf joined us (or we joined him). He enjoyed a lot of pickleball this year. They play first thing in the morning which is an issue for me as Louise and I like to sleep in and have lazy mornings. I did make it out once, but that was the day that Wilf and his friends decided not to play....	Ted on the Jetski - a wavy day in the bay - lots of fun!
Lou enjoys the flowers	Louise and I enjoy Stand Up Paddle boarding around the bay each morning, and Snorkelling around the resort in the early afternoon. I also play Volleyball later in the afternoon, when the sun goes behind a building so we can play in the shade! We also enjoy reading in the shade, and the occasional game of frisbee. In the evenings, the enternainment group put on musical shows. They are a lot of fun, and knowing most of the performers (from Volleyball and other activities) makes the shows more even more fun. I enjoy taking photos of the performances and then sharing them with the staff. They seem to appreciate it. Of course we also enjoying going to town every now and then for cuatro quesos Pizza!

Snorkelling at Brisas
This year, I somehow got conned into a resort tour of "Secrets". It was a typical condo sale deal. Other than the high pressure sales at the end and the awkward moment at the end when we had to be firm and say no, we enjoyed the tour, and we got a coupon for a private boat tour. The boat tour was very good. We enjoyed our guide, and he took us down the coast to several nice bays. We did some snorkelling and stopped at one for lunch. On the way, we saw 12 turtles, which is very unusual. They were all quite a distance appart, but in more or less a line about a km off shore. This was definitely the "year of the turtle" as we also saw a few while stand-up paddling. Unfortunately, the wind came up, so we weren't allowed to take the boat back - and had to be picked up by a shuttle. It was still a very nice day.	These guys liked to hang around the boat in the harbour.
