I hate to say it, but Louise and I are turning into amature bird watchers. I took a course to learn how to identify the different birds at our feeder; and we have fun, particularly at breakfast, watching all the action.
My computer desk is right beside the patio door leading to the deck, so the feeders are only about 10 feet away from where I usually sit when I am working. When we seen a new bird, or when the lighting is just right, I can't resist slowly cracking open the patio door and sticking my camera through the slat.
While I don't go out specifically to shoot birds, I do take photos of them whenever the opportunity arises, so not all of these shots are from our feeder.
