Louise

Louise is working 3/4 time at Sifton School - part time secretary, and part time librarian.  Having the same hours and holidays as the kids is a real advantage.  She is enjoying the work, although with all the activities the kids are involved in, it's still a stretch.  She still enjoys  Stamping and has hooked up with a local shop owner to teach a few classes.  Lots of fun getting together with the girls, and believe it or not she has a few friends who are more fanatical about stamping than she is.

Louise actually got to wear her shorts at Nitinat this year.  Her favorite complaint about that place is it can be very cold.  We had great weather this year, along with all the wonderful friends.  She was making more than a few jibes by the end of our holiday, and is getting much more comfortable cruising across the lake on her windsurfer.

Louise is also getting to be quite a good snowboarder.  She says that now when someone asks if she enjoys it, she doesn't have to hesitate before she says yes.  Lou and I went on a snowboarding weekend at Sunshine Village in Banff last spring and really enjoyed it, although the mountains are a bit more challenging than Rabbit Hill.

Louise keeps getting younger, and prettier every year.
