Spencer
Spencer had another busy year. Once again, he declined to write his one Christmas page, so Louise and I can say whatever we want! I think Spencer had a pretty good year! His favorite class in High School was F.A.C.T. (Fitness and Cardio Training). He had to be at school at 7:00am three mornings a week. One day they would run, the next swim and the next bike. If the weather was too cold to go outside, they would do aerobics or other training. At the end of the year, they had a mini-triathlon. I wish I had ever been in as good shape as he is in now....

Spencer was on the senior Volleyball Team and travelled to Vancouver for a Tournament. I think the highlight of that trip was visiting with the Carlisles. He also played percussion in the Band and went to Vancouver with the Band as well. While I don't think he enjoyed high school band all that much, he did enjoy his Big Drum group and his private drum lessons.
At the Camrose Music Festival, his Big Drum group won the "Rose Bowl" which is the top prize, and he and his friend Lucas also won an award for their drum duet.

Spencer worked hard in High School and graduated with honours. He has a lot of good friends, and they sure had fun during their graduation - renting a bus to tour around Camrose. Spencer worked full time during the summer for Zetsen Home Builders. It was a labour job, basically cleaning up behind the sub trades and preparing the site for more work. He was on a crew of four, and the only student. I think he had fun and learned a lot. He has been invited back next year, which says something.

Wetaskiwin Triathlon
While the weather wasn't great during the summer, Spencer still got out boating quite a bit, wakebording and wake surfing. He enjoyed a few parties, both Big Valley Jamboree, and a concert at Darwell with his cousins. Spencer was lucky enough to have Pepère come out for a few days in July to help him do some bondo repairs on his truck. He also participated in the Wetaskiwin Triathlon and a few Augustana running races.
This fall, Spencer began classes at the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta here in Camrose. He is taking a science program and really working hard - I am impressed. He is thinking that next year, he may go to the University of Calgary. He has just finished his exams and is very much looking forward to the break over Christmas. He wishes you all a

Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Spencer's enjoyed his FACT class (Fitness and Cardio Training). 3 Days a week, jogging, swimming and biking. At the end of the year they had a mini triathlon!
Spencer's Big Drum group won the Camrose Music Festival "Rose Bowl" - the highest honour of the event. Their group has been together for years and are very talented! Spencer and his friend Luke also won a trophy for a drum duet that they performed!
