There are few things I like doing more than taking photos at Airshows, expecially if I can get a good seat. In Wetaskiwin everyone seems to like to sit on the berm back from the show line, which leaves the fence line pretty well open anywhere.
There is also a great area at the end of the show line, where I could get a little closer, and which gave me a better angle to the sun. It wasn't show center, but gave me a great angle for the planes approaching from the North. The show was late in the day, so the sun was an issue as it was directly in front of show centre, and then set during the last part of the show. This made for some interesting shots of the afterburner on the F-18, but did present challenges with the low light....
